Jigoku
Nobuo Nakagawa has his tried-and-tested style, which he remains faithful to today. It's certainly one of the most interesting movies of 1960 year. It's a specific movie, not everyone likes it, but it's impressive. Jigoku filled me with hard to explain energy, made me so embedded in it. I walked into this movie totally blind. I knew nothing about it, even never saw a trailer... That movie sticks out in my mind with how good it was. Maybe because I just didn't expect it. I haven't found this full movie anywhere else so I uploaded it here on this website.
Storyline of Jigoku
Shocking, outrageous, and poetic, Jigoku (Hell, a.k.a. The Sinners of Hell) is the most innovative creation from Nobuo Nakagawa, the father of the Japanese horror film. The movie tells the stories of a group of sinners involved in interconnected tales of murder, revenge, deceit and adultery all who meet at the Gates of Hell.
